Thanksgiving Thanks

Despite so many twists and turns, I had many things to be thankful for this year. My little family may have been reduced by one physically but all in all, she most definitely did not leave us and we felt her there with us. This Thanksgiving was a little rough but we managed. After all this was the first holiday we are experiencing without her. We kept grace positive and focused on the many happy moments. Thanksgiving dinner was generously donated by Cypress Bible Church where mom attended. It was a pretty decent meal...NO comparison to mom's delicious cooking but we were thankful to have us three siblings around the table along with "el nuero" :-)

Who is "el nuero"? LOL

That would be my amazing boyfriend whose unconditional love and support has allowed me to stay afloat during these past few weeks. A man who has had to wipe away more tears than I had ever hoped for in a lifetime. A man who is the epitome of love and I am ever so thankful for <3

It seems that now, I hold on to my brother and sister stronger than before. These two amazing siblings have become the very soul of my existence. They are my life and I am ever so thankful for them everyday. We have been blessed to always be a close family and us siblings were no exception. Now, if possible, I love them more and hold them so close to my heart. Nothing and no one will ever come before them as nothing should ever be placed before family. I made a promise to her, as we all did, and we all plan to honor those words.

Thankful list is endless this year <3 To the mountains of family both biological and none, words can not come close to indicate how much everyone has meant to us. To my new "tias", I love each and every one of you guys tremendously and will cherish you guys until forever. Just heads up, you have gained one stubborn niece ;-).

Last but not least, ever so thankful for God and helping us all stay afloat in a time where it is so easy to sink. Time and time again it has been proven that I can do all things through Him, who strengthens me.

I am now off to cheer on my Texans and put up our Christmas decorations up <3 Pics to come later :-) Hope everyone has a fantastic week ahead.

  2. I know you have had an enormously challenging year and I wanted to tell you I know in a way, how you feel, recently going through it myself. I admire your strength, faith, courage, value of family and perserverance. You are in my prayers. Always remember how special you are. Hold dear your beautiful memories which will last a lifetime and give you strength. Know that God blesses us with rainbows that follow the rain.
